Indian Horse follows the true story of Saul Indian Horse through his mandatory attendance to residential school, the abuses he endures there and his escape through his prowess at hockey. However, as he advances in the game, Saul must find a way to deal with his tortured past before it consumes him.   

Following the film there will be a Q and A with actors Ajuawak Kapashesit who plays Saul at the age of 22, and Michael Lawrenchuk who plays Fred Kelly, the man who adopts Saul, freeing him from St. Jerome.
