All ticket sales are final. All events, programs, artists, times and date may be subject to change. The ticket holder takes full responsibility for any incidental risks before, during or after the event and if they are not able to attend the event. All individuals require a ticket to gain entry to ticketed events. Any person whose behavior is inappropriate, violent or vandalizing including verbal/physical assault, harassment, threats/aggression and theft will be refused admission and/or removed from the premise. Theatre management reserves the right to refuse admission and refund the ticket price to any individual. In accordance with the facility rules, alcohol, illegal drugs, cameras, recording devices, clothing not being worn and bags or containers of any kind, may be excluded from the premises. Holder consents to a reasonable examination of his/her person and effects to ensure compliance. Price shown includes all taxes and service charges where applicable. Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance. Anyone expelled from the premises for violation of the rules will not receive a refund.
Ticket exchanges may only be made for another performance of the same event. Exchanges must be made with the box office at least 48 hours prior to the date shown on the original tickets and are subject to availability. An exchange fee per ticket will be applied.
The Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts encourages a scent-free environment. Please be considerate of those in the audience who may have allergies and/or multiple chemical sensitivities and refrain from wearing cologne, perfume or other scented products.
Running late? You will be seated at a suitable break in the performance. On-stage performances are shown on lobby monitors for the convenience of those waiting.
Cameras, video cameras and recording devices are prohibited inside the theatre. In the event of any disturbances, ushers may ask those individuals responsible to leave the auditorium. Once a performance begins, all mobile devices should be turned off and any other audible distractions should be kept to a minimum.
Light snacks and an assortment of beverages are usually available before the performance and at intermission. Please note the bar closes once the performance is in progress.
Food and outside containers are not permitted in the theatre. During select performances, all beverages purchased at our bar will be allowed in the theatre. Review the Venue Alcohol Guidelines for Patrons (pdf) for more details on our beverage service.
The Corporation of the Town of Oakville promotes the reduction of bottled water use. Filtered water is available. Patrons may only bring empty water bottles to fill at the theatre.
In consideration of other patrons, please refrain from opening candy or gum wrappers during a performance.
Smoking or e-cigarettes / vaping are not permitted on the premises or within 9 metres of any entrance.
Babes-in-arms (24 months and younger at the time of performance) and young children are welcome to the Family Series performances. Contact the box office for all other performances and to obtain a seat pass for a babe-in-arms. Each person entering the theatre requires a ticket or seat pass.
