Community Event, Concert
Join the Canadian Caribbean Association of Halton as they celebrate their 2026 theme "Out of Many Cultures, One People". This year’s event includes a keynote speech by musician, actor, and educator Sean Mauricette, who will weave history, poetry, and live sound to reflect on what the world has gained through Black existence, from the Moors of Africa to present-day global culture.
The night will feature performances by cross-over band The Band Destiny and a collaboration between the CCAH Steel Band and Parang Ensemble.
Ambient music will be played by Royal Conservatory trained pianist, Daniel Fernandez in the lobby prior to the performance.
Don’t miss this great opportunity to celebrate Black excellence among the community.
Lobby doors open at 5:45 p.m.
