Tarweeda is a captivating theatrical performance celebrating the extraordinary and often untold role of Palestinian women through song, movement, and storytelling. Rooted in one of Palestine's most distinctive folk traditions, the Taraweeda are songs that have carried joy, longing, and defiance across generations — and were even used as a coded language of resistance during the Palestinian struggle.
The show features some of the most beloved songs in the Palestinian cultural repertoire, including Al-Shamali and Tal'een el Jabal.
Approximately 75-90 minutes.
