Mean Girls the Musical

Book by Tina Fey
Music by Jeff Richmond
Lyrics by Nell Benjamin

Theatre is so fetch! Mean Girls The Musical brings the iconic hit film to the stage with big laughs, bold music, and all the high school drama you remember. When Cady Heron enters North Shore High for the first time, she quickly discovers that surviving the social jungle of high school may be tougher than life on the African savanna, especially when she meets Regina George and The Plastics. Tina Fey’s hit Broadway sensation, Mean Girls The Musical, brings the iconic film to life with razor-sharp comedy, unforgettable music, and all the drama you could ask for.

This show is definitely going to be fetch but it may not be suitable for all audiences. Just as the title says this is about Mean Girls and there is both bullying and cyberbullying depicted. There is also mature language, sexual innuendo, depictions of teens drinking, and some Mean Girl commentary on body image. There are lots of laughs and life lessons, but we think it’s best suited to those that are 13+.

From Gander to Oakville, where it all began. Come From Away had its very first performance in Oakville, and now, this remarkable story returns home. When 38 planes are unexpectedly grounded in the small town of Gander, Newfoundland on September 11, 2001, 7,000 stranded passengers from around the world are welcomed by the locals with open arms. What begins as an international crisis becomes an unforgettable story of compassion, resilience, and hope.
